Creator notes

The Grumman TBF Avenger was a three-seat American torpedo bomber that entered service in 1942. It became the U.S. Navy's principal carrier-based torpedo bomber during World War II. The aircraft was originally manufactured by Grumman under the designation TBF. When General Motors' Eastern Aircraft Division took over production, its aircraft received the designation TBM.
