Creator notes

The idea for this building came to me while I was building my city; it was intended to serve as a venue for Senate meetings and various political events. In designing it, I drew heavily on the Curia Julia and its reconstruction—a very interesting and aesthetically pleasing building, in my opinion—but I decided to make my Curia more majestic. A sturdy granite pedestal elevates the main building; a portico with an imposing Doric order crowns an unusually shaped pediment with scrollwork, which sets the tone for the roof, similar in shape to German roofs. An unobtrusive blend of two styles :3
