Continental

Creator notes

Ever get bored of Minecraft's vanilla world generation? Ever get decision paralysis on when or where to stop exploring? Ever get annoyed when your minimap mod always shows there's undiscovered land just beyond what you've seen? Then Continental is for you! I have always taken issue with the fact that Minecraft's vanilla world generation is roughly inverse of what Earth's is: a TON of land with "oceans" that are more like big lakes. What if most of the land was grouped into large continents that are far apart from each other? I created this datapack as an alternative to Starmute's Continents mod/datapack, which turns the whole world into an archipelago with continents scattered throughout. My datapack has the continents well outside any reasonable render distance from each other, and islands are weighted to only be placed far away from continents as well. Hope you enjoy!
