Minecraft Java Version 26.1 or newer This pack was made over 2 weeks for the Datapack Jam Spring 2026 with the Theme 'Elements'. The beet source code can be found on my GitHub . The elements have been extended, adding way more devastating effects such as heat waves, burning everything under the permanent sun or arrow rain, where literal arrows rain down from the clouds. If you use this pack in an existing world, I highly recommend making a backup beforehand, since the new weather effects can be destructive. Every ~1.5 minecraft days, a weather effect will start and stay active for almost a full minecraft day and night. The new weather effects are as follows: Acid Rain When in the rain, your equipped gear slowly loses durability and you constantly get the poison effect Arrow Rain Literal arrows, sometimes with random potion effects and sometimes aflame, rain from the sky everywhere around you. Blood Moon All hostile mobs under the sky gain permanent resistance and strength effects. In addition, hostile mobs can spawn even in sunlight. Darkness Everything gets dark.
