Why I did this datapack? Since the 1.14 update, villager trades have been the most overpowered mechanic in the game, making other mechanics obsolete. How can we solve this? This datapack rebalances all trades. The goal is to keep them as an important mechanic, but one that is more focused on the mid-to-late game. My goal is to keep the vanilla trades while making all professions useful and not overpowered. How does it work? A Minecraft day consists of 24,000 ticks, which equals 20 minutes in real-time. This datapack updates the villager trades 4 times in a minecraft day. Configuration: Configuration is simple. There are 13 files, one for each profession. Also, there are files that define how many times per day the trades are updated, and at what time. All of this can be configured with Notepad. There is a Readme file to see all trades. Librarian villager always trade the same 4 enchanted book depending the biome they are. Farmers trade the sappling of their biome. The value of the emeralds is highly increased (you need more items to get one single emerald), making raids or finding emeralds a lot more useful.
